Moderation is post send, so everyone is trusted to abide by the code of conduct.

Access to these lists are through the admin-list

* These lists are reserved for official correspondence of the co-operative

* Members can view copies of this list at "Members View"

Team Mailing Lists 

Access to these lists are through the admin of each team.

List Moderation

List moderation is handled by the Moderators Group. The moderators group is formed out of the complaints group administered by the board. If you think you are able to take on the task please email the secretary for consideration.

All emails are sent on an honesty system that you will abide by the code of conduct and do not require the attention of the Moderators. If an email is deemed inappropriate by the moderators, the sender will have future emails held for approval before being forwarded to other subscribers, it's called Pre Moderated. Senders can also be suspended and even removed from the mailing lists.

If someone posts which leads to offence being taken and it is validated by the moderators, then the offenders emails will be held for pre approval until the sender has demonstrated they understand what has caused the offence.

Should a subscriber not be happy with the decision  of the moderators then they have the avenue of the DTE Complaints Process

There are no public announcements as to when subscribers are added, removed etc. That is between the subscriber and the co-op

Please do not cross-post! 
Think about who your post is MOST relevant to, eg. the OC, and post only to that list.

OC - For operational matters of the co-operative Organising Committee 

Cross-posting is inconsiderate and clogs up discussion lists with irrelevant posts.  It makes it very hard for members to be involved in just the area they have chosen.  

Cross-posting also increases archive storage space, makes archive searches difficult, and sometimes results in people receiving multiple copies of a post.  

Cross Posting is like shouting over all the groups, please be courteous and choose one channel
